KeNOG Automation Tutorial - Background
Automating processes increases efficiency and introduces cost savings allowing fewer resources to be used when deploying and or managing Internet services. This introductory tutorial will cover the basics of Automation using modern, freely available tools such as Ansible.

The tutorial will be lead by Danny Afahounko (from https://ahome.io/africa-cloud-by-ahome/)

The tutorial is aimed at beginner to intermediate level engineers seeking to gain a broader understanding of Automation.

Pre-requisites
Participants should be familiar with Unix-style operating systems. The course is taught on Linux (Ubuntu or CentOS) but the environment will be familiar to people with a systems administration background on FreeBSD or Solaris.
