TUTORIAL 1: ISP NETWORK DESIGN

Date: NOVEMBER 5th 2020, 2PM Kenya Time (E.A.T.), 11AM (UTC/GMT)

Greetings, I trust you are all well. The KeNOG PC is pleased to invite you to the first tutorial on ISP Network Design. This tutorial will be virtual and focusing more on the configuration and setups done at ISPs.. Regardless of the size of an ISP, thoughtful network design is essential in ensuring that packets traverse the ISP's network in the shortest amount of time. This then enables the ISP's clients to benefit from fast Internet speeds and network services. From POP topologies to infrastructure and routing security as well as other operational considerations, join us on Thursday 5th November 2020 at 2 PM (Kenya time) as we go through ISP Network design best practices for a robust, secure, and scalable network at our first tutorial for the year. Novice and intermediate level network engineers are encouraged to attend. More information on this tutorial and how to prepare will be shared in the coming days. The tutorial will be led by Michelle Opiyo who is a Senior Network Engineer at Workonline Communications.
